LAWYER AND MEDIATOR
I provide a range of legal advice and support on issues affecting Māori organisations, those working with Māori, and the wider Māori legal landscape.
These have ranged from large scale Treaty of Waitangi settlements or co-management agreements to other, more specialised, projects. I also assist organisations, particularly post-settlement governance entities and other large Māori organisations, on governance obligations and structures, statutory obligations, and holding and managing settlement assets.
I also help with in-house legal capacity by providing ‘on-tap’ advice on day-to-day issues ranging from organisational governance to contract management.
