LAWYER AND MEDIATOR
I help to find solution that will work for you for legal issues or disputes, through independent mediation and dispute resolution services or tailored legal advice.
For more than two decades I have been working with individuals, organisations, and communities to find workable, lasting solutions to a range of legal issues or disputes. This has included assisting Māori and non-Māori organisations and individuals through complex challenges they face, including issues that are firmly grounded in tikanga Māori.
In doing so, I’m mindful that the process of finding a solution, and preserving relationships while doing so, is just as important as the outcome if the end result is to be workable and lasting.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Laws in 2003, I went on to work for large commercial law firms. Since 2013 I’ve practiced on my own to provide tailor- made services that fit the specific needs of my clients. I am qualified as both a lawyer and a mediator. I also hold, or have held a number of governance roles - which has been valuable experience in understanding the perspectives of many of the clients I work with. I work throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
